Amber glass collectibles are some of the most beautiful of glass collectibles available. The range of color from the palest yellow to the deepest amber or brown provides a wide range of possibilities in collecting, and the collection that includes them all can be arranged to emphasize that variation in color. In addition, amber glass is the perfect choice of glass collectible to warm the rooms in which it is displayed. Blue and green glass collectibles are beautiful, but cool the environment around them. The reds and pinks are also beautiful, but the red is usually a trifle forceful, even garish. The yellow tones spread warmth as they reflect and transmit the light that falls on the amber glass.

Let your imagination loose and do not decide the bounds of your amber glass collection until after you have collected for a while. Then, if the industrial or useful objects are not to your taste, you can sell them and use the money to buy the more decorative amber glass you prefer.
